One does not go to the Night of Terror to watch films. The objectives: scream your lungs out and come up with the funniest, raunchiest banter relating to on and off screen events. As a consequence, a film like Last house on the left with some pretty intense rape and torture scenes far from freaks people out on a night like this. On the contrary, the audience is actually encouraging the actors to give it all they got and to try harder...
From the bits and pieces that I sort of conscientiously saw (between the shouting and drinking vodka red bull) I think the remake works. Better production value, still very violent.
