Well I hate to typecaste (no you don't moron, you love it) but my "aaah... Troma!" thought during the Q&A did "explain" this film to me.
Not that there is actually much to explain. There's curious lighting, curious angles. Curious sudden cutoffs of music. You think arty, think again.

A direct-to-DVD release would be a compliment to this film. The imagine festival organization praised the makers for upping their game when it comes to the visual look compared to earlier work. Lighting wise I could perhaps see their point, but the camera work was shoddy, screen direction was all over the place and frame sizes were not matching where it should have.
Okay, this film was shot on a very low budget in only 11 days, and even though I tend like B-movies, this one just didn't cut it for me. I guess a 15 inch monstercock and doped up characters alone aren't entertaining enough after all...

So, this was the first movie I saw in this festival. The director also did Easter Bunny Kill Kill and some others. Though this was still a low budget movie, it costed more than the last 3 movies the director made. One of the cops gave some comments after the movie. He mentioned that the director did not want to come and answer questions like what inspired him to make such a movie like this.
So here we have some medical students experimenting with drugs. Within 2 minutes after start of the movie, one guy gets fucked to death by a woman who transforms into a man a moment later. The motto: "What goes in, must go out" suits this movie. I leave it to your IMAGINation where it goes in and where it comes out ;-)
Tons of more weird stuff happens. I must say that it was one heck of a movie to start with. It has some sick scenes, but also some annoying, like contiously making fun of a guy who stutters. Anyway, for a gore movie it is quite ok. The story.....could be worse. The acting......could be worse in some cases ;-). I would gave this gore movie a higher score if the ending was not overdone like it was. "the unexpected ending" was quite annoying and I wish the director did not do it. Overal for the fans, fun to watch.
